  • Interesting and relaxing ride mainly for a sunny Sunday, and later enjoy a specialty in the nearby restaurants

  • At first glance row of trees, at both ends seems one walk like any other, to both sides two great sources. What is more striking is its ceramic benches which make a review of the history of Linares. It is a return to the past.

  • -Paseo de Linarejos is a pleasant boulevard with more than 100 years of existence which unites the Hermitage of the Virgin of Linarejos, with the Plaza de la Constitución (where is the historical and famous plaza de toros) in a straight line. -It has a length of 1200 meters and constitutes one of the principal for the ride places and place of events (mostly old). Along its route alternate different species of trees among which are have interleaved Palm trees. -During the years of the Republic is called Avenida de Carlos Marx. -The so-called fountain of the Constitution begins and ends at the chapel of the Virgin of Linarejos (Patron Saint of Linares) and along its route include the beautiful station of Madrid (building neomudejar of brick and stone built in 1925) that today welcomes the center of interpretation of the mining landscape and monument Andrés Segovia (born in Linares). -Without a doubt its most characteristic element are the banks of tiles (there are more than 100, and are beautiful) which are located on both sides of the promenade. The original had an existence of some 80 years and it excelled in them that were advertised business or local companies in each. In 2008, given its great damage, they were replaced by new ones, also of tiles, and each of them contain any old image of the city. -MY IMPRESSION: it's pleasant, absolutely straight and flat with more than 100-year history that allows to see notable buildings like the Madrid station or the Hermitage of the Virgen de Linarejos. It is worth a walk.
