  • The only passable gardens, and the plaza de toros need urgent reform of stands and access; a shame that a square with this tradition is thus and the festivities celebrating scarce and livestock that does not correspond at all; only remains the memory and little else; the only passable surroundings and square no infrastructure or festivities

  • It is a very beautiful park suitable for walking, taking the air, being with family. If you want to have a coffee or a beer you can do so in the bar which is at the Center. It is accessible by several points and one of them gives a taxi stop, if you want to go. Another place. It also gives access to a bus stop. It is a park that is very well centralized.

  • Santa Margarita gardens occupy the "solares de Murga", also known as the cross of the roll. They are located next to the signal indicating the end of the town of Linares. The lands were included in the urban plan of expansion of the city in the year 1878, next to the Paseo de Linarejos. Land plots of Murga, located in front of the then recently built plaza de Toros, were property of the Marquis of Linares until 1882, date in which cede them to build gardens. The marchioness requested that these gardens is called Santa Margarita, in homage to the mother of her husband, the Marquis of Linares. Francisco Casado and Gomez, municipal architect, made the initial project in 1889. The gardens will open in June 1890, serving as recreation and leisure to the inhabitants of the area. In 1954 is the first reforms, to align the gardens with dwellings of the right margin of the ascending path of the walk. The project ends in 1956. During this reform is built the fountain monument to the Marquis of Linares, with busts of Jose Murga Reolid and Raimunda Osorio, sculpted by Víctor de los Ríos, and who preside over the entrance to the gardens. In the Center was installed a bar-ambigu 'La Rosaleda', which gave great atmosphere the gardens during the hot summer nights. After his loss, recently has been placed a new one, with the same name, who remembers him. It will be in the year 2005 when approval of the latest work carried out in the gardens of Santa Margarita, aimed at the construction of the underground car park. These works completed at the end of 2007. In 2008, registered, in the Centre of the gardens, bust homage to Manuel Rodríguez "Manolete" that, since 1972, had been located in Lope de Vega Street, next to the Plaza de Toros. By way of anecdote, there is still one from magnificent pines dimensions.
