Parque de San Telmo, Las Palmas de Gran Canaria
(3.6/5 based on 200+ reviews on the web)
Located at the end of the one of Gran Canaria’s busiest streets, Parque de San Telmo provides a relaxing and shaded refuge from the bustle of the surrounding city. The park itself abuts a section of the old city wall, and contains a baroque chapel from the late sixteenth century. Relax on one of the park’s many benches under the shade of large palm trees, or grab a drink from one of the surrounding cafes and food stands. Be sure to pay a visit to the Modernist-style kiosk located on the edge of the park, which is an example of unusual architecture in addition to serving refreshments. Children can play and exercise on the playground or central green areas. Live music is often played in the evenings at the square’s central gazebo. The area makes a convenient post-arrival rest area as it is located next to the city’s central bus station. • Ideal to rest after a stroll, stands at the beginning on Calle Triana, have a church with the same name, a gazebo, a bus station and an underground Park; with a view of the ocean!

  • It Park of San Telmo, is in the entry of the popular street commercial of Triana (street pedestrian) in them palms of great Canary. This Park, has history, since from here (to his left looking to the sea) got the old dock of them palms, and in this park is received to them travelers that arrived to the island. He the Park is located the chapel of San Telmo, of which dates its first construction in the century XVI. We also have the modernist kiosk, dating back to the 1920s, where you can have a coffee. From the you can see the building of the military Government.

  • The park is located opposite the central bus station and at the beginning of the shopping is Calle Triana.. In South American you will find many similar parks, so this has some influence on this park.

  • A nice place to take a walk. And It will be much more when the City Council decides to reopen the modernist Kiosk (from 1929) in one of its corners, a beautiful little building, that has always been cafe with a gorgeous terrace for the Clients. I hope it will be soon.
  • It is one of the biggest parks in Las Palmas. Calm and family friendly, here you will find some live shows during the Spanish festivals.
  • Bocadillo pollo tastes very nice. Coffee is good.
  • Super place. Go to Internet Shop at Cebrian, 24
  • The park is nothing special but there's a lovely little church with a visit if you're in the area.
