Inspirock Rating:
4.3/5 based on 2,600+ reviews on the web
Unwind in the scenic surroundings of Playa del papagayo, a beach in a national park. If it is a clear day, look out to the islands of Puertito and Fuerteventura. The fine white sand and calm blue waters are ideal for relaxing and swimming. Though there is a cafe and bar for refreshments, compared to other beaches in Lanzarote this one has relatively few amenities, so come prepared. The short trek down to the beach might not be suitable for those with mobility issues or strollers. • It costs to get here (3 euros). There is next to no shade. But it is beautiful. I preferred the quieter beaches with surf on the north
  • Several nice coral sand beaches, where the Papagayo Beach is the most crowded but also the most sheltered. Thus there are only small waves which makes it suitable for children and swimming. There are two bars on the cliff with overpriced and average food. There is a 3€ fee to enter the roads to the beaches by car but enough space at carparks.
  • Such a beatiful naturally shaped beach among the cliffs! Definitely worth a visit.
  • One of the best beaches. Clear blue water and lovely soft sand. A few small caves and small rock pools.
  • Worth the long drive on the gravel road. Often crowded.
