Lagomar Museum, Lanzarote
(4.1/5 based on 460+ reviews on the web)
Set into a hillside in the interior of Lanzarote, Lagomar Museum offers a showcase of exhibits, including one on the life and acting career of Omar Sharif. Explore the many different sections of the museum, including the house that Sharif owned (however briefly) during a film production in 1972. The art gallery showcases sculptures and paintings from around the world, with a special focus on local artists. Make sure to pay a visit to the museum’s upper levels, as they offer striking views of the surrounding valley and volcanic mounds. Grab a bite to eat at the bar and restaurant, which offers outdoor and indoor seating. • It had already been previously in Lanzarote but had never visited Lagomar, I was surprised when I saw pictures for the first time since I've seen very little recommended or announced... and my particular only for the photos... worth go!! We learned that if going from 18.30 the entrance was free, that there are certain parts that you don't see, we decided to go at night and spend what we had saved in entries to have a drink at the bar they have inside. And that success! Cool have very in chilaut plan... and leave you to walk through the site viewing the entries, climbing the stairs, and taking pictures... I think that it is worth both go day and night, so have pending return from day...

  • Fantastic house built right in the lava rock. Omar Sharif owned it for a short time, but lost it in a bridge game.
  • Was not really clean.... :/ I loved the garden and the view.
  • The visit well worth. Each very curious with great views. It has a restaurant and from 19:00 bar. The cocktails are very rich.

  • A paradisiac, incredible, beautiful place... unknown to many. A place that should not visit on Lanzarote. Lagomar cave is a museum which houses a restaurant and a cocktail bar, located in some caves, but is not one Museum either, is the home of the late actor Omar Sharif, which lost the House in a bet playing cards. Not you as Miss, is also at a reasonable price its entrance €6. I recommend it.

  • Beautiful place. Good prices for residents. There should be a 'must' in Lanzarote at the height of other emblematic sites of the island. Don't forget to visit it and enjoy every corner as well as exposure in the main house.
