  • This is a monastery that began in the 12TH century, you can see how different architectural styles have been going on to this day. The Augustinian have it very well preserved, and they have turned it into a Hospedería, breathes peace by all sides. It has several paintings of value, but above all a stone sculpture of the 16th century, with the image of Santa María de la Vid with a face that is of a perfection that startles. Even if it was only by this image it is worth visiting the monastery, else do not diminish. They are 3 euros of donation by the guided visit.

  • Surprised this Premonstratensian monastery, above all the Church, library, cloister and the walks along the Duero

  • We went to visit the monastery by its external architecture, without knowing everything that hides the enclosure where it is located. The Monastery outside it is very beautiful and striking, but what is most striking is the area of youth camp that hides behind, equipped with bathrooms, amenities, area of bonfire, pets (rabbits, ducks, turkeys, cats...). Was a very curious visit. The monastery inside did not see him since a wedding was taking place and did not want to interfere with the ceremony.
