  • It was a fabulous surprise to see the monastery, it is hard to imagine that in a town you can find so small you a gem like this. Nothing more surprised to see him, he is imposing, as well as the tranquility of the gardens that surround it. It offers accommodation, though we only did the visit of the monastery itself. Deserves the penalty deflecting is and know it, within not much will be 1,000 years of history. Has suffered various expansions in all these years... Promenade beside the River on the back is also nice. Recommended!

  • I just spent 3 days hosted last September with my partner and am already looking forward to returning. An exquisite, full of peace and quiet place where disconnect from everything. Very well communicated with interesting places as Aranda of Duero and San Esteban de Gormaz, municipalities of obliged visit. Surrounded by a nature rich in flora and fauna and accompanied by the waters of the River Douro which runs almost to the side. It has swimming pool in summer and a space enabled by way of forest where you can camp. The price of the stay in full Board is very economical. Breakfast, lunch and dinner are very comprehensive, varied and quality. It shows that they have a good staff of kitchen. As icing, guided by volunteering in the summer months are a real delight. 100% recommended

  • This is a monastery that began in the 12TH century, you can see how different architectural styles have been going on to this day. The Augustinian have it very well preserved, and they have turned it into a Hospedería, breathes peace by all sides. It has several paintings of value, but above all a stone sculpture of the 16th century, with the image of Santa María de la Vid with a face that is of a perfection that startles. Even if it was only by this image it is worth visiting the monastery, else do not diminish. They are 3 euros of donation by the guided visit.
