  • We arrived at the monastery and there was only another couple waiting to take the guided tour for the same. A brother of Salle la was responsible to guide and explained everything in detail, the penalty in this monastery is that it is very austere by the order that built it, the depredations and the fire that burned part of it in the end saw the relic of the Holy thorn that known, but worth it.

  • One of those unknown places of Spain which are must. Grand monastery of Cistercian origin. In the monastery there is a school of agriculture that de La Salle brothers. They are responsible for the guided tours that are excellent. If you are between Valladolid and Zamora take a couple of hours for a visit.
