  • The visitor center was not closed when we arrived. But the route was clearly marked for the window. So there we have a picture of. With our child of 15 months (10 km) in the baby carrier was the best a spirited walk, but also good to do. Approximately 4 hours of hiking. First time over a paved road, which is about in a dirt road and then something steeper runs to the open spot in the Woods: Cubo de la Galga. This is 2.3 km. From there it is 1.9 km to a beautiful lookout point Mirador Somada Alta. Don't be put off by the what steeper piece that comes now. This is just 0.9 km and the nature is very beautiful. The last km is about an easy dirt road. The view is beautiful. On a clear day you can see Tenerife. From there you can take the same way back or a round. By direction La Galga and then to the vistorcenter is pretty steep down. We took the route to La Galga and then Cubo de la Galga. Then you only that last 2.3 km still run back to the visitor center where you are coming from.

  • Short walk 2/3 km into the forest is worth a few hours to continue the path by walking under a bridge, you come to a fork in the road ... ... the choice is yours quiet cool and large ferns

  • Definitely recommended it is awesomely beautiful. Walk to the mirador was strenuous but well worth the effort. You should have a good condition
