  • Today our trip took us to the discovery of the Islote de Lobos. After taking a seat reservation on the site at a cost of €15 a/r us this morning at the box office at the Harbour, where they give us materially the ticket, and off we go. DOPP 15 minute ferry arrives on the island. There are well-signposted paths with information on travel times to reach your destination choice. According to some images seen on the guide we head to the beach of el Puertito. No it's not quite up to our expectations then we're falling back on a Beach much bigger glimpsed upon our arrival, la Caleta. The beach is spacious, clear water not overly crowded the period and we focus all day. A different day but absolutely worth a visit considered the virtually untouched beauty of the landscape with nature that shines in all its glory, in turquoise waters, the beauty of its landscapes and the richness of its habitat.

  • The environment is very nice. Crystal clear waters in puertito. The most important thing is that you bring you food to save you horrible saturated restaurant... cheap food and disastrous paella.

  • ... don't bother talking money. We arrived with the first water taxi but after a while we knew what awaited us ... then we advance in ns. indentation for several hours. A "carnage" ... a lot of people who come by ferry to the pier with all kinds of "equipment" ... you can imagine. It is impressive the number of people who landed ... gross. The Caleta (the largest) the sea and the beach are not anything that in Puertito better but you have no idea what a mess ... and what filth. At Fuerte found many better places and suggestive if you want spectacular sea/beach. Have turned this island into something exclusively! The coolest thing was the walk that we did for the island ... that's if you love hiking and/or want to visit it for this reason then my advice to you is more than positive but if you go hoping to find the remote and uninhabited islet with Caribbean beaches and then. ... So I can only advise against this hike (at least in August).

  • We went for a day trip walking the island, you need a good pair of walking shoes the terrain is not for flip flops..
  • Best view!
  • Beautiful islet, which has beaches, pools, trails, Lighthouse, visitor centre and a small museum about the history of the place. Access is through one of the various ferries connecting Fuerteventura with islet, at different times. It is worth spending the day to revel in the views and crystal clear waters.

  • The Isla de Lobos is a small island to 20 min ferry ride from Fuerteventura. Ideal for day excursion (advise go early, the first ferry from 10 am, and again after eating). Ferry tickets are available at the port of Corralejo (costs € 15 return). There is a shadow on all the island and after a few hours, one is sick (I say this from experience). What I did, and I recommend, is to catch the ferry from 10 am, take the morning on the beach of la concha, eat at the restaurant on the p.m. shift, walking some trails that are to see a little islet and catch the return ferry to 16 h. There on the island of wolves can:-go to the beach of la Concha (the best from there). The water is clear blue. -Hiking (there are several routes. Give it back to the island are 2-3hours). Wear appropriate shoes. -relax in small coves, near the restaurant. In the afternoon the tide and there is no sand. There is only a restaurant on the island, "Antonito, lighthouse keepers". It is very cheap and very good, with views to the sea. You can only eat paella (€7 ration) or fresh fish (€9 the dish). It is time to choose dish at the time of booking (have to make their forecasts). I advise to go fast to reserve a table, nothing more arrive. We took the ferry from 10 am and as soon as we arrived, we went to the restaurant to book. People also know it and then go to book, so it is is tail. If you arrive by ferry from the 11th or 12th, most likely already not have a table. Also people carry refrigerators to eat there in the beaches/bays, although I advise to eat in the restaurant (good and cheap) and be 1 hour resting without sun. * bring cream, sunglasses, hat and water. There is no any shade (there are only 2 interpretation centres are filled with people at the half-day to eat and shelter from the Sun). There is water and soft drinks vending machine *
