  • It is not a place to feel "dazzled" his humility and simplicity so requested it. But a place that, if a good guide, accompanies you will have you very interesting things of the city and its history. Even the kids, if accompany you, also will be engatusados by the visit.

  • The Museum sits in an old fortress built in the 16th century. From the 16th to the 18th centuries was a defensive building and prison, more afternoon was used as a Lazaretto to isolate the sailors arriving in the city affected of any infectious disease. The Museum as such was opened in 1968. Are considered Memorial-artistic since 1.994. The Museum houses objects of archaeology as: protohistoric goldwork, megalithic, bronze age, castreña, romanization and different aspects of the city. Price entrance 2 euro

  • Archaeological and historical Museum in A Coruña the castle of Saint Anton, ancient fortification built to defend the city of A Coruña, sits front the Parrote walk, in the known as "Illa da Pena Grande". Throughout the insular period (up to the 40 years of the 20TH century), Holy Antón contacted the city from the House of boats or O Boteiro, currently fitted out as the Museum Library. Archaeological and Historical Museum of A Coruña Santo Antón Castle, an ancient fortress built to defend the city of A Coruña, is situated opposite the Parrote walk, known as the "Illa da Pena Grande". During his insular period (until the 40s of the twentieth century), St. Anton prior with the city from the boathouse or O Boteiro, currently enabled as Museum library.
