  • To all who go visit to La Coruña and likes all the theme of castles, fortresses and other I recommend it, is very small but is in perfect condition and is very peculiar to me I really liked...

  • Visit essential. Well located and accessible (you can go in bus, taxi, car, bike and walk...) and the price of the ticket when not free (our case) is laughing. Museum which before was a fortress with towers of surveillance of the entrance to the port (hence the Castle) and islet, saves earned the sea... so in addition to all the elements well exposed as a Museum in its own right of the city and its nearest maritime environment, monument carries its own and interesting history: his roof, his bowels of water and its well their views of the Marina with the new surveillance Tower of the breakwater, its defense battery... Recommended is its view also from the sea, up to the tourist boat, which departs from the Marina. Mode make it deserves to be seen and visited.

  • It was an old fortress defending, since an island now joined to the Mainland, the port. In it you can also visit the archaeological and historical Museum. The entrance costs 2 euros, but is free Saturday.

  • No text in English but ask for the audio guide. A very wide range of history.
  • Lacking English texts mostly, but other than that, nice collection
  • Located on the seafront promenade, this 16th century fortress was part of the defenses of the city. It is currently the Museum arqueologico e historico, of municipal property that houses interesting prehistoric and historical pieces relating to the Castle, city and Galicia. Must-see. Accessible Museum, free on Saturday

  • Fantastic. All in perfect condition. There is free parking on the outside, which although it tends to be crowded, is more than what you could ask for in a Coruña. Access is cheap (normal € 2 and € 1 reduced) and also accept both young meat and University card at any University. The staff is very attentive and patient and also give you a pamphlet with detailed information and maps to follow the route and does not escape you nothing. It is an incredible site both architectural, culturally and historically. 100% recommended.
