  • The Charterhouse of Jerez is located on the outskirts of the city, and unless you are very early and go to mass at 7:30, you can only visit its facade and the entrance courtyard. Even so, it is worth. The jerez and Segovia are the unique Charterhouses which are still inhabited

  • This monastery in the 15th century became, among other things, bivouac of the Napoleonic troops, was long left in a poor state. He was now cleaned and partially restored. The imposing late baroque façade of the Church which you can visit at the end of the courtyard, an atmosphere of peace and extreme loneliness. The sisters, all in white dressed and encapuchonnees are seen in the chorus during the offices, hieratic, sitting, kneeling or lying on the ground. Impressive!. A shop, adjacent to the entrance and open from 10:00, offers a set of pottery and objects of worship of quality!

  • The monastery, who saved the breeding Andalusian horses. The Museum accessible only on Sundays, from 11 clock, otherwise it is freely accessible to the spectacular Church and two courtyards. A very quiet place in the shade of the orange trees.

  • Impressive art of Architectural Structure & Design!
  • Beautiful monastery of great artistic value. Must visit if these through the area. In very good condition - see photos -. I recommend reporting schedules arranged visits and masses by telephone before you go.

  • A beautiful and enigmatic place. The main façade is Gothic. The enclosure is surrounded by hedges and flowers pretty well maintained. You can visit a small chapel which lies to hand enter left, visitors can leave writing whatever you want in a book provided for that purpose. They have a small shop meet, you can find works very well. The women who attend the store are very attentive. Too bad you can not visit monastery inside.
