(2.9/5 based on 1,200+ reviews on the web)
At Bodegas Tio Pepe, take a trip back to Jerez's 19th-century glory days as one of the world's leading producers of wine. Board the train to tour the vast grounds of the winery and sherry warehouse, including a round building built by famous architect Gustav Eiffel. See over a hundred barrels ready for export as well as wine barrels displayed with autographs of the rich and famous. Learn how sherry is made and watch the warehouse mice take samples from their own cup of sherry. The tour finishes in the banquet hall, where you can sample dry and sweet sherries. Tour prices vary according to how much wine you choose to sample and whether or not you include tapas with your tasting. • Although they are "serially" visits and loose guide the script that has learned from memory, the wineries are impressive, very well organized. It is worth. If you've seen other wineries, the explanations seem you elementary.

  • Recommended guidebooks. Choice of the language. Paid visit depending on the number of glass of wine to enjoy with or without Tapas. We chose without Tapas but with more glass to enjoy. Tour of train operation. Lovely woman Guide. The visit in it even is instructive but we see too the barrels autographed by famous characters. The tasting is generous, pay attention to the output in full sun with 40 degrees. My wife began to laugh constantly and without reason... effects of alcohol and the Sun. To do with moderation. Roland

  • Ultimately, we are then but to Tio Pepe (Gonzales Byass) on a German-language tour of the Bodega. The guide spoke very good German, was very informative and humorous, there arose no boredom. The time passed quickly in the air. Now, we know a lot more about the Sherry production. Worth it!
