Parc Natural del Montgó, Javea
Categories: Wildlife Areas, Nature & Parks
Explore the rugged and rocky coastline of Alicante at Parc Natural del Montgó, home to more than 650 species of plants and animals and some of the best scenery in Spain. Delve into the park’s more than 2,100 hectares (5,190 acres) of wild scrubland and mountainous terrain. Travel to the heart of the preserve and climb to the summit of Monto mountain, which rises to a height of 753 m (2,470 ft) above the surrounding plain. From the top, you'll enjoy panoramic views of the ocean, mountains, and occasionally the Balearic island of Ibiza. Wear appropriate footwear, as the terrain can be rough at times. The climb can easily take three to four hours one way, and is therefore not recommended for those with limited mobility. See Parc Natural del Montgó and all Javea has to offer by arranging your trip with our Javea trip generator.

An exceptional microclimate and a spectacular vegetation. But the human factor has brought unless this unique and wonderful space. Views of scandal and tremendous serenity, but hard to get to the highest point accessible from Javea due to brutal chalets built, above all, Germans, Englishmen, etc in tos to have access to the Montgó environment. Pitiful and damaging urbanites performances by their licenses and desmiramientos.show original
