  • This tower, one of the few restored, in Jaen is a little the ante room of the Cathedral... If it weren't for that stands the building of City Hall, but in any event worthy of relic historical and important piece of our diverse mix of cultures, of which we have to proud sntirnos all the Jaeneros. Ah and very easy access for visitors.

  • The tower is just what remains of the walls of Jaén. Although this well preserved area is slightly damaged

  • No one knows exactly when the wall around Jaen, as the Moors built, was built, but a guess is that it happened between 1125 and 1144. There is not much left of this enormous facility, and Torreon de los Condes de Torralba is one of the most significant residues. There is no access to the Tower, but you can only see it from the outside. It is less than 200 meters from Catedral de Jaén, and one can easily walk to Calle Carrera de Jesús and view the beautiful Tower. On the other side of the street, right across from the Tower, lies the Monasterio de Carmelitas Descalzas.
