  • From Jaca is accessed by road to the Parador de Oroel in 15 - 20 minutes and from there a beautiful path that I climb gently after 33 curves to Oroel cross from which is not only divisda the city of Jaca from the very top but all the skyline in the Aragonese Pyrenees. To visit if you're moderately well physically.

  • I can't say much from this site, since only managed to visit outside and surroundings. Everything was closed and in maintenance. A shame! Actually my goal was the old monastery of San Juan de la Pena, nearby, in sorry state of conservation. Externally this monastery is huge, too big! It has Camping areas and Senderos, including appreciation of birds.

  • all visitors of faith and inhabitant of the place who comes regularly or lives in Jaca and has not come up to the Peña Oroel to see the magnificent views that can be seen from there is is missing something important. You have to climb, if or if, in the life at least once and visit its majestic Cross and as not to the Virgin of the cave apart from admire the incredible views of the comarca of Jacetania and the Pyrenees. You can ascend with children and for them is a great adventure that will never forget never.
