(4.2/5 based on 400 reviews on the web)
Archivo Capitular de la Catedral de Jaca was the first Romanesque cathedral built in Aragon, and is one of the oldest on the Iberian peninsula. Its current appearance is the result of additions and modifications mainly made between the 15th and 18th centuries. Gaze up at the vaulted ceiling and admire colorful frescoes. Visit the Chapel of Santa Orosia and study paintings that depict the life of the cathedral's patron saint. • Jewel of the Romanesque part of the Camino de Santiago, which served as an inspiration to other temples of the same style.

  • Beautiful Cathedral, located in the Centre of Jaca. Sivisitan the city don't forget to enter it, since inside is still more spectacular.

  • The Cathedral of Jaca is a jewel in the Romanesque style, although quite hidden in the historic center, pressed between the old buildings, which gives low light and poor visibility. Your entry is simple and rustic, like all the churches in this style, but its interior is a gem! I knew it's Cathedral since 2006, when did the Camino Aragonés to Santiago de Compostela.
