  • Museum of reference in the world of skin. Igualada, as pioneer in this city, has with factories of skin treatment (adoberies) in the area of the "Rec D'igualada". Visit to the Museum, the Rec area and the "Museu de Traginer" are a good way to spend a very enjoyable and educational day.

  • Museum located in a capital of the region whose economy in recent times has been the preparation of skin for use in the market, immerses us in this little known world. Since the skin becomes as it has been extracted from the animal until its cut, embossing, sewing and others. Current and old machines do not give a thorough knowledge of this activity economic that it has been and continues to be the engine of the region of l'Anoia. Every first Sunday of the month is scheduled a guided tour free of charge. It's worth the time.

  • Visit to learn about the process following the skin of animals, usually cows, its soaking, washing, brushing, etc., up to becoming in soles of shoes, harnesses for animals, saddles, etc. In the Museum there are information panels with good descriptions, life-size figures that recreate the different works, and some samples of finished parts. The Museum of located in two buildings, coming from the other. The staff is very nice, they even told us some aspects of the process, but we we miss a guided tour.
