  • A few weeks ago there were in our family trip, I can not put a but to that visit, starting with the guide who gave us a master class with numerous anecdotes and scientific data that left us amazed. You could tell that he loved his work and knew their land. The complete tour, walk through countryside and visit to the tube. Something that is not all day and that moment of dramatic silence. It would repeat it and also I have recommended a few friends going this week. And also if as it is done to us late to eat there same together there is a bar that is eaten very good homemade food.

  • It's an interesting and dynamic visit to a stretch of the volcanic tube generated by the lava flows of Mount Teide. We request appointment online and visit began with punctuality. Highly recommended as activity during the holidays

  • From Puerto de la Cruz, it is approximately 30 minutes (and public holidays 30 EUR) to get to the curve of the Viento at icon according to Internet. The taxi driver asked his colleagues and drove marked otherwise as (good). That cost time and nerves, but it paid off. The lead was English by a native speaker, who from the outset was the 4 primary school children, who were in the group with. After an introduction to the visitor centre with footage from Hawaii, where these lava tubes still occur, it went up a piece of the mountain with two minibuses. The rest, we went on foot. It became clear why shoes had been recommended. On the different rock formations was made aware. Because marketing including mandatory commercial photo stations is not the head offered to take family photos at the cave entrance with the on-board cameras. The explanations were vivid and understandable, I have thoroughly enjoyed the two hours and learned a lot about basalt in an entertaining way. (Did you know that he absorbs light and noise?)

  • This is a 'must do' while on Tenerife. Take a tour of a volcanic lava (cave) tube system with knowledgeable and enthusiastic guides. Offers something for the whole family. Comfortable footwear, long sleeved top (fleece is fine but lite rain coat if it's damp) and trousers/jeans and you'll be fine. They supply (free) hard hats with headlamps for your safety. Turn up, tune in and enjoy!
  • First of all, this is a ride for everyone - small children to old people. It's not energy draining elbow crawling super-tight space type of activity, but a light, exciting and full of knowledge-gathering kind. I won't spoil it too much, but, as one of the guides says, it's not just an activity, "it's an experience", enjoyable for both your mind and your senses. It's the perfect introduction - the taster - for other longer and more challenging tours. We've visited in September (25+ deg. outside) and inside it wasn't cold at all, so no need to carry heavy jackets or clothing - a light sweater was more than enough. If you don't have a car, easiest way is to take a bus to Estacion Icod, then a taxi up to the info point (6 Eur at the time of the review). We went back from the cave to the bus station by foot (45+ min), was a great way to get the pulse of the area - seeing the local flowers, the lemon, avocado, banana and pomegranate trees - it made the experience complete. Book online 2-3 days in advance, there are limited places every day - which make the tour feel more personal and also keeps the footprint left by the visitors to a minimum. It's also a lot cheaper to book directly. I would add this to the list of must-see when visiting Tenerife.
  • Wow, this has to be the most interesting place I have visited on the island. It involves about 90 minutes of walk, an hour of which is underground. The guide was very knowledgeable and passionate about the caves and the ecosystem that lives within. Would visit again.
  • Absolutely amazing. I went on the tour guide and it was something everyone should experience someday. There's even a built-in air conditioner! Top marks.
  • Very interessting tour and nice people. We got a lot of information out of this tour
