Es Vedra, Ibiza Town

(4.7/5 based on 1,300+ reviews on the web)
The small, uninhabited island of Es Vedra is a place of legends—including UFO sightings—and great beauty. The rocky island lies around 2.5 km (1.5 mi) off the coast of Cala d’Hort. Several companies run boat trips that enable you to get closer to Es Vedra. From the boat you can watch the endangered Eleanora’s Falcons swooping in the sky and see the island’s sub-species of wild goat clamoring up its steep rocks. Some boat trips also include swimming stops and snorkeling. Or, relax on the beach Cala d’Hort at and enjoy excellent views of the island. • Now known by tv. Beautiful Rocky surroundings. Fun to carry around in island exploration by car or other means of transport.

  • very nice beach with some booths to keep the boats of fishermen. About the defensive Tower called "pirates" but to get there you should go along a track drive and then walking a while uphill along a trail, not very comfortable and without signaling. The view is mravillosa, and appears in many tourist photos, although it takes time getting there

  • Unsurpassed sensations in the implementation of ☀sol. On Valentine's day, we went to see hiding the Sun from this place so magical. Peace, love, and lots of positive energy.

  • This place is really nice but is better to go early otherwise it is complicate to find parking... The alternative solution is the up hill parking, for free, but up hill... Going down is easy, going up is "hard"..., more if you had lunch at the beach restaurants....... At the beach the water is crystal clear and there are nice rocks where you can find some sea life... Better to take the "scuba gear", glasses and breathing tube. The hard thing here was the "funny jelly fish" that dazzle around and spike you..... So always swim with care. But the view was really nice to Es Vedra.
  • A must visit at sunset, stunning view.
