Create an itinerary including Castell de Eivissa
Head up to Castell de Eivissa for an up-close look at some impressive architecture, a bit of history, and commanding views over the town and harbor. The UNESCO World Heritage Site fortification looks much like it did when it was constructed in the 12th century. Today, though, restaurants, art galleries, and craft shops can be found among the gates and bastions of the castle walls. Take time to view statues, castle defenses, and archaeological ruins. Be sure to visit the 14th-century Gothic cathedral at the top. Add Castell de Eivissa and other attractions to your Ibiza Town trip itinerary using our Ibiza Town driving holiday planning tool.

  • Breathtaking- not literally! A mix of tradition and cosmopolitan feel, crowded but you had room to breath. It was the perfect romantic walk. Hint: There is always more to see, twice we almost ended.....  more

  • This is an essential place to visit in Ibiza city. Great views in a old historical environment. Better to wait till the sun goes down as it can be really hot especially on summer.

  • We loved walking around exploring in and around the castle. Beautiful views and architecture. Within the walls are lovely restaurants and stores on cobblestone street. Very quaint and interesting.

  • It is a beautiful, impressive and really massive Fortress. The Walls are at least couple of meters wide. The City Walk is quite long, but it opens amazing views to the sea, the harbour and the old city. Inside there are some very nice Restaurants and a Cocktail Bar with beautiful view. Very nice place and very recommendable!
  • Very nice medieval area to walk through. Beautiful cathedral on top. Also the church San Domingo is a really beautiful church when you're inside.
  • Loved it ❤️
  • Great views from up top, great uphill climb with beautiful narrow cobblestone streets with really nice kept apartments along the way. Also, right above harbor that has numerous options for restaurants and boutiques.
  • Wonderful restaurant, the curries and cocktails are sensational! Great vibe, fantastic music and super friendly staff
