  • We entered the monastery of San Pedro with a guided tour that is available in the tourist office, and without a doubt, would recommend to any visitor to the city of Huesca to do the same. We had great luck of having as a guide to Carmen, a young that it transmitted us her enthusiasm and knowledge in a way very interesnate and fun. We just visit knowing many things which up to then we were unaware... 100% recommend!. Finally, with the guided tour, we could access the CATHEDRAL, City Hall, and... how not! THE BELL OF HUESCA.

  • Very nice.
  • Beautiful monastery. At the entrance there was nothing and no one that warned of ticket buying. We agreed to the cloister, where was the "Guide" without any external element q acusandonos will identify it as such, the payment of the entrance exigiendonos, little less BREW us. Poorly educated in the treatment and arrogant, a pity that someone is thus in charge of show a site with so much history.

  • Initial church Visigothic, Mozarabic subsequently. The current Romanesque is 12th-(Church and cloister, this late styled) in the same style and possible master of San Juan of the penalty. The monastery was occupied by Benedictine monks at the beginning of the century quoted XII. The dome were added over the centuries (XIII), retablos (late 16th and early 17TH). The stalls are of first in the 16th. In the Chapterhouse Alfonso I the Battler and Ramiro II the monk are buried. A visit is a must. Best to visit it and enjoy it.

  • The history of this beautiful construction refers to several times: Roman, Visigoth, Mozarabic after and in the centuries XII-XIII (Benedictine monastery) was acquiring the appearance which has survived to this day. They impress their paintings from the 13th before the chorus. Wonder of temple situated in the historical district, pity to be corseted between housing and you can not admire perimeter. What horror. It is unprecedented for a jewel so not be respected rigorously. Admirable and exemplary care by the person who attends to the visitors.
