  • Very interesting visit to a vision of a lunar landscape, the unreal colors, shaped by the hand of man to collect precious metals for industry, but who at the same time, caused a major ecological disaster. However, the mine has been partially reopened after many years of closure, more precisely in 1998 after the breaking of a dam to a pool of storage that caused the spill over of 7 million tons of toxic sludge on some 5000 ha area. So it's very interesting to know the creation, exploitation with its environmental woes and its commissioning of this mining company which certainly poses problem, but that can not happen of precious ores, which are extracted from the open pit mine.

  • I advise go early in the morning and first visit a working mine. See how she is and what a huge tiny seem those huge trucks. And then at 10.30 opens Museum. There are buying tickets, respectively, for the Museum and for tours of a closed mine. Visit the Museum and it is very interesting with the imitation of a Roman mine in full size. Oh and the tour of the mines, train lengthwise Red River simply beautiful

  • It has been an unexpected visit. The most attractive of the visit is the recreation of a Roman mine where you arrive to get a good idea of how they could become the working conditions that the slaves would have on mine.

  • Little exploited for all resources that have. I expected more from the visit, although it was nice. The trick of catches to drive and we are going to visit the mine, very good.
