  • A unique facility, which takes us back to a time. Next to the river Nansa, a jewel of the ancient industry of Cantabria.

  • Visit to la Ferrería de Cades in very interesting, is the building of la ferrería, its operation and the annex mill. There is also a short walk among trees on the side. We reserve by phone and did the tour. Mariana, Paul and John were great guides that explained the use and life in the foundry. We could see the operation of the same and in addition Annex mill. Certainly I recommend, both to people with children as anyone who wants to see the entire machinery of cast iron in ingots (billets) or a mill in operation. In addition, the environment is precious.

  • highly recommended visit because explain as they worked in the foundry in the past and how hard and expensive it was. Have made a good reconstruction of the ferreria that is in operation for the visitors

  • A brilliant restoration of a water-powered ironworks and corn mill. Fully operational demos of water-powered bellows and forge, then the water-powered hammer, followed by a working corn mill.
  • Visit highly recommended, could see rebuilt machines for 200 years and in full funvionament is a.

  • I was in the two ironworks there in Spain, one in Asturias and another is, and this is the biggest difference. This reformed so that he could be in March and the truth is that I found very interesting. Highly recommended

  • We visited by children and leave everyone happy. The building is beautiful, the great environment, very interesting explanation. There is no discount for large family and the video project is a little absurd, but otherwise a visit that it's worth much.
