  • I was here by car. It was beautiful weather. We stopped in vantage points (and not only) to admire the stunning views. I was delighted with this place. Gomera is wonderful-not tourists, beautiful nature.

  • The Valley of Hermigua is very long, slightly less than ten kilometers. It can be accessed both from the South, coming from San Sebastián, both from the North, coming from Vallehermoso. To get an idea of the beauty of the Valley we recommend that you access from the South, follow it downhill. Very few tourists who are standing here. The town of Hermigua extends along the whole Valley, with some fraction in higher positions, both still in the car on winding streets where it's hard to pass by crossing other vehicles. In the Centre of the village there is a small church certainly not memorable. The road then descends to the coast, where there is a pebble beach and black sand impractical with sea particularly tumultuous. Near the beach there is a famous "float", an iron structure which served a century ago to load bananas onto ships. Hermigua is a sleepy town that, like many similar villages of the Canaries, has lost many inhabitants because of emigration.

  • The local old mill shop with Terassenlokal, small garden. Food and drink in the price OK There is often fog (clouds) in the Valley.
