  • I was yesterday visited the forest in the middle of the island of Gomera. I was a little upset by the fact that I had pushed up to El Cedro along a winding road paved and without being able to find the waterfall. Upon returning I decided to make a stop to visit la Ermita, urged by the boy from the information point located on the access of the Park. Like all signs of the paths of the Canary Islands, this one is calibrated for slow walkers. From the street we bring you no more than thirteen minutes of pitch (and not twenty as the sign says). The small chapel that is reached at the end of the trail is in a nice location and is explicitly made the effort to build it into a point so needy. It was built in 1964 by relatives of a Mrs. Perry, who died on the island. I too like many reviewers found it closed, with the suspicion that it is always. You do not understand well the sense of building a monument to the memory like this not to keep it open.

  • With a short hike through the Park in half an hour you reach this beautiful church ... kinda disappointed to find it closed!

  • Everyone who visits La Gomera by car-very strongly recommend this place to visit. This is one of the lightest and short hiking trails on the island, and if you have a time limit-this is the best option to see the true nature of the island, rather than walk on the fenced and polished "Orangery" at about tourist office park. -Routing endpoint bar-restaurant "La Vista", which have to Wade about an hour through the twisted, Mossy trees, passing along the picturesque streams and with gusto to pass along the edge of a very impressive and dried up the river overgrown with age-old trees and completely impregnated between the frozen time. On the route constantly catch myself thinking that the local forests are also delicious as any wild jungles of Southeast Asia, and are completely safe, because there is absolutely no snakes on the island and never fished anybody dangerous Mole! Therefore, be sure to bring your kids-they will be the fullest ecstatic. Of course, shoot, good atmosphere to this completely. And, as the Council: lay on the route, as a minimum, 2-2, 5:00 time to fully enjoy the serenity. We were in July, and unfortunately have not seen the famous fog, due to which the route is called the Rain Forrest. You may have more luck.

  • From the outside very cute to see, however you can neither go nor look good. Next door is a picnic area with tables and benches
