  • Not for the faint of heart, the Inquisition exhibit is detailed and extensive. Also other areas on Jewish life in Spain prior to and shortly after the Expulsion and the Inquisition.  more »
  • Very few days ago that we have returned from our visit to Israel, there by chance, nothing more open mouth we have coincided with Sephardic Jews, there are many which evoke with nostalgia his Spanish descent, for this reason, we went to visit the Museo sefardí?. We believe that they should use different nomenclature for representing the typical Granada House located in the Jewish quarter, in the ancient Hill of the Mauror (today district of Realejo). We all know that the Jews lived among us more than fifteen centuries, and that our neighborhood occupies what was originally the Jewish settlement of our city. Contributions on the history of Jews in our city and some cultural, historical objects, etc. traditions telling us the occupants of the "Museum", which of itself is interesting, we believe that the definition of Museum is a bit contradictory and lends itself to confusion.

  • Between the rooms of torture and Jewish culture beautifully highlighted, this small museum is really nice to browse. The price is reasonable, provided translations are from texts of automatic software so you'll laugh, but not to understand much. Fortunately the signs are all in English and Spanish.

  • The idea was to have a museum about the Jews of Granada. The lady explained that her project wasn't funded so the family decided to make this memorial in their own home. They have done a splendid job. Plenty of information, objects and pictures. You'll even learn the origin of the bain-maire!
  • The staff are friendly BUT...5€ for a couple of tiny rooms, filled mainly with junk. Very little information about the history of the Jews in Granada. I'd advise you to give this one a miss.
