  • Towards the top of the Hill, so you shouldn't go get it hard. Size small, sober, so as paid in my frustrations have remained.

  • I have visited a number of troglodyte villages, this is a good exemplar. 11 caves fitted out to show how people lived in the cave dwellings and the traditional activities carried out there. Outside ar...  more »
  • Gypsies are a race, is a fact that no note, is shown quite. From this base, we must prepare our minds for what we will find in this called "Museum". To begin to dismantle views of the hidden things is, the slopes that there is and the "assault" of the Gypsy women who we have found along the way, which do not make another thing is to ask for help to survive. We clarified there is a means of transport (minibus C4), which leaves from Plaza Nueva and if got off at the stop "2 Sacromonte" leaves us near your door. If we are in possession of the "Golden bend" the entry price is decreased by 20%. The museum itself consists of a total of ten caves, adorned with decorative motifs that they used in their clothing from about 100 years ago, also the most common tools for the cultivation of their lands, as well as the utensils used for the realization of baskets, baskets and other items that were then sold. They aim to visitors to make an idea of its customs, its history and evolution and development of their neighborhood. They also have a classroom of nature which is given on: flora, fauna, climate, landscape and its agriculture. Apart from all of the above are previously fortunate for its wonderful location. From above you can see the Valley of the river Darro-Valparaiso, the rangelands of the Sacromonte, olive Hill, the Alhambra and the generalife gardens, anything that by this latter already deserves your visit. Summers brighten them with their dances to the outdoors and some that another film screening. These beings will move to a time unknown by the vast majority of us.

  • Really fascinating and very enjoyable visit. I also thought it was a very well looked after exhibition of an interesting period of history.

  • worth to See and mich to learn about the cave culture and the history of the caves
  • This the the heart of the District of Sacromonte. You can climb by two different parties but always walk. From the beautiful Albayzin neighbourhood, by the San Luis Street and the sidewalk in middle, or by the same Sacromonte up the door of El Gallo flamenco tablao, up above. The last visit was to a concert presentation of the new album of the group Los Gemelos de Granada and his group, in the night of San Juan, spend a great evening in addition to good music.
