  • Little-known but cute this little Museum that contains paintings and objects of past centuries, but above all, is housed in a beautiful building and curious in the decoration of the façade and the wooden ceiling. Worth visiting also because it takes a long time and it's free.

  • The Casa de los Tiros takes its name from the muskets that appear between the battlements on top. This building from the 16th century, located in the Realejo neighbourhood, known for its imposing façade with five Greek gods. In addition, the lintel of the door is crowned with the phrase "the heart sends", where a sword pierces a heart from above. Full verse and the bellicose and virile meaning of the cover can see it the photo, as well as the contents of his museum pieces because it now houses the Museum of history of Granada with permanent exhibitions on the city over the centuries.

  • It is an interesting Museum does not take too much to visit and with free admission. I liked the posters of the feria de Granada and the building itself.

Where to stay in Granada

Granada is built in a valley looking up to the majestic Alhambra, and most visitors choose to stay where the view can be admired. Plaza Nueva, just down the hill from the Alhambra entry gates, constitutes the touristic center of the city. Many of the famous free-tapas bars and lively restaurants line this famous plaza, as well as a number of small hotels and apartment rentals. Found directly behind the plaza are the city's two historical old Moorish quarters, Albayzín and El Sacramonte, which are characterized by their narrow winding streets and picturesque whitewashed buildings. Here you'll find a number of charming hotels with hillside views of the Alhambra and city center.
