  • Convent founded after the conquest of Granada, currently occupied by sisters Poor Clares. There are guided tours of the convent and the Church. The nuns also sell sweets and very very good cupcakes. In addition is in the area of the Albaycín so it is on the way to other places as the viewpoint of sn Nicolas.

  • Took the boys up the hill to visit this cloistered monastery for some afternoon tea. The entrance isn't immediately apparent - it's off Santa Isabel la Real, through an archway into the courtyard. Fol...  more »
  • Beautiful building located in the narrow streets of Albaycin neighborhood, excellent alternative for those who love sweets. The Conventual sweets, manufactured by own Sisters of the Congregation. Are excellent! And the way to buy them is more interesting: the communication between the client and the sister is made without visual contact. Through a Bell, her sister arrives behind the wooden wheel, puts candy samples that are being sold, the client chooses, puts the money on the wheel, it rotates and the sweet comes fresh from her inside. Very cool!
