  • The Mirador of San Cristobal is located west of Albaicin on a high point from which you can enjoy a beautiful view of the Alhambra and the Palace of Carlos V lterale. You can get there by climbing the stairs of "cuesta de San Cristobal" after the door Elvira. Excellent vantage point over the city.

  • This site is recommended by the office of tourism of Granada, do not confuse you, this far and if you go walking as a server, not complensa for nothing the effort of climbing this mountain for a view nothing exciting. This site is little more than an extension of the road that passes by the side next to a bus stop to see a view that if it were not for the Alhambra could correspond to any site of Andalusia, leaving a panorama that does justice to Granada.

  • The views are really nice, but the climb on foot left me breathless. At least not bad knew me the time it took to recover breath :-)

  • Maybe not the best place to view the Alhambra but it's a fantastic spot to watch the sunset with long distance views over Granada and the surrounding plains to the mountains beyond - and no crowds.
  • Wonderful views at the whole city and yet at Sierra Nevada on the left. Very demanding climb up there, but worth it. There is a tap with water so you can refresh yourself during the hot weather.
  • Wonderful view of both the city and Alhambra and not as crowded as San Nicolás. Won't get my fifth star because it's right by a trafficked road!
  • Beautiful, but do not climb the narrow streets by car. Very dangerous.

Where to stay in Granada

Granada is built in a valley looking up to the majestic Alhambra, and most visitors choose to stay where the view can be admired. Plaza Nueva, just down the hill from the Alhambra entry gates, constitutes the touristic center of the city. Many of the famous free-tapas bars and lively restaurants line this famous plaza, as well as a number of small hotels and apartment rentals. Found directly behind the plaza are the city's two historical old Moorish quarters, Albayzín and El Sacramonte, which are characterized by their narrow winding streets and picturesque whitewashed buildings. Here you'll find a number of charming hotels with hillside views of the Alhambra and city center.
