  • We have been to this small church many times and we always enjoy seeing it. Its location by the Plaza Nueva is very good and it is easy to get to.
  • The Church of San Gil and Santa Ana (Iglesia de San Gil y Santa Ana) is a parish in the Catholic Church, is located on the banks of the river Darro, at the tiny little ploŝadiu at the foot of the Alhambra. The Church was built in 1537 by the project of Diego de Siloe, the most famous architect of the time in the place where previously stood Almanzora mosque.

  • and yet she appears in a few guides but we must discover at the end of the plaza Nueva and let yourself be surprised by the as tall as the nave choir and looking up by the ceiling amazing decorated wood, wood lace. The tables on each column are good and deserve to be watched. A great discovery to advise without restraint to lovers of beautiful churches/cathedrals.

  • Iglesia Santa Ana y San Gil in Granada Diego de Siloé was a very famous and prolific architect and sculptor. His early works were principally carried out in his home town of Burgos - the gilded staircase in Burgos Cathedral being just one of many of his beautiful creations. He was the primary architect in the construction of a number of cathedrals including Granada's. He did quite a lot of work in Granada including the planning of this church - Iglesia de Santa Ana y San Gil, a 16C church that stands in the Plaza de Santa Ana.
  • One of the many stages of a walk to Granada, but at the same time, without anything particularly reportable. Bella la torre

  • We terribly regret of having chosen this temple to get married. The site is very nice, but both the parish priest and the sacristan made the experience an unbearable event. They are very nosy. Put stick with music, the choice of the flowers, the liturgical elements... and practically everything. We were literally told that "Santa Ana is a factory of weddings" (five couples were married in our weekend), and it is necessary to adapt to what they do all to avoid problems. In addition to everything you have to pay 275 euros (without invoice, logically). Think twice if you choose this church.

  • Small church with much charm and characteristic mudejar Tower. Many weddings take place weekends of the summer season. In addition is located next to the river Darro which makes it very photogenic.

  • It is a cute cozy Church and weddings can be seen Friday or Saturday in summer
