  • A fine example of civil architecture in the late Gothic and Renaissance styles. Located next to the gardens of Fuente del Triunfo. Based on a square plan with four cloisters and a four-arm structure (reminds me a little of the Hospital of Milan, now the State University) has beautiful architecture at the intersection of the arms and beautiful are also the cloisters. To see.

  • Traje de urgencia a una mujer de parto y la atención fue horrible, no nos ayudaron nada e insistian en mandarnos a otro hospital. 5 estrellas por lo bonito que es el edificio y lo bien situado que está para todo tipo de emergencias.
  • Too much bureaucracy
  • Beautiful building, instructed build by the Catholic monarchs, and ending to it by Carlos V in 1525. Square and four square courtyards formed by a building in central cross. They are used in the Gothic, Renaissance and Mudejar styles. It is the seat of the Rectorate of the University of Granada, of several General Service and a beautiful University Library.

  • The Royal Hospital of Granada is a BIC building, founded by the Catholic monarchs as a hospital and Hospice. It began to be built, outside the city, in 1511. Its plant mimics that of the largest Hospital of Milan, of Filarete. The haphazard construction of the building is not finished until 1649, year in which its Baroque façade is finished. It maintains its functions until 1964, the year in which, after the departure of the last sick, it undergoes a profound rehabilitation to its adaptation as a University venue. In 1980 he moved to the property file and the General library of the University of Granada, and a year later the Rectorate and the central services.

  • He is the Rector of Granada and the General library of the same, the oldest in Spain (more than four centuries): wonderful and quiet.

Where to stay in Granada

Granada is built in a valley looking up to the majestic Alhambra, and most visitors choose to stay where the view can be admired. Plaza Nueva, just down the hill from the Alhambra entry gates, constitutes the touristic center of the city. Many of the famous free-tapas bars and lively restaurants line this famous plaza, as well as a number of small hotels and apartment rentals. Found directly behind the plaza are the city's two historical old Moorish quarters, Albayzín and El Sacramonte, which are characterized by their narrow winding streets and picturesque whitewashed buildings. Here you'll find a number of charming hotels with hillside views of the Alhambra and city center.
