It is a good school. All the teachers are very intelligent and kind and his books and materials helped me a lot. You have trips to interesting places every week. I improved my Spanish very much, but I need more practice.

  • Delengua school made my time in Granada so much more interesting and fun. I didn't originally come to Spain to study Spanish, but once someone recommended it to me I gave it a shot and was really happy. The staff are so friendly and helpful and the school has a really cool environment. Since it's not for a grad or an exam (unless you choose to) everyone is just there to learn and share and grow. I'd recommend it to anyone!
  • DeLengua is a great school and the best place to learn Spanish with quality and a lot of fun. All teachers are really good and all activities interesting and useful to improve our Spanish. I had a blast in Granada and certainly DeLengua was decisive for that. I do recommend it! PS. I enjoyed so much my time there that I'm coming back soon to study a bit more! Una escuela genial!
  • I only had a week to spend at this wonderful school - how I wish I had more time there! Wonderful, welcoming atmosphere; fantastic, central location; clear, structured program; professional, competent teachers; lots of cultural activities - it all added up to a really great experience. My level of Spanish was finally pushed up from the plateau I had been working on for years. Plus the price was super reasonable! I highly recommend this school - I very much hope to return myself someday!
  • Learnt a lot in a really friendly environment. I was at the school for 2 weeks. Angela welcomed us and had an informal chat to assess my level. She made sure it wasn't daunting and placed me in a class at just the right level to learn a lot without finding it too much of a struggle. And she seems to remember everyone's name somehow! Subjunctive is particularly challenging for me but Lucía was brilliant at explaining the grammar and Susana was amazing at getting students talking and practicing it. On the different past tenses Tiff gave some really good exercises and I understand far better now. When I heard about the activities I was a bit sceptical but they were really good and the teachers were really enthusiastic. Pepe's walk to the Cahorros (or something) was great, and Maria/Lucía did a really good job of showing us the feria. Hope to return in August.
  • Great school! It's perfectly located in the Albaicin area. My teachers were great as well as the students. Everyone is very friendly as well as helpful! The teachers mainly speak spanish, but they speak slowly and very clearly so you are able to understand. The school also puts on fun activities everyday which I wish I participated more in. I would highly recommend attending this school.

Where to stay in Granada

Granada is built in a valley looking up to the majestic Alhambra, and most visitors choose to stay where the view can be admired. Plaza Nueva, just down the hill from the Alhambra entry gates, constitutes the touristic center of the city. Many of the famous free-tapas bars and lively restaurants line this famous plaza, as well as a number of small hotels and apartment rentals. Found directly behind the plaza are the city's two historical old Moorish quarters, Albayzín and El Sacramonte, which are characterized by their narrow winding streets and picturesque whitewashed buildings. Here you'll find a number of charming hotels with hillside views of the Alhambra and city center.
