  • Isabella of Castile and Ferdinand of Aragon, called the Catholic Kings, repose in this beautiful chapel at their request in the early 16th century after Moorish Granada fell the last of the cities of the Iberian peninsula under the onslaught of the troops led by Isabella and Ferdinand. Granada's accession is considered their main merit. The chapel was not yet finished when she died first, Isabella, and then Ferdinand. So their remains placed here later. Magnificent marble tombstones carved gold altar and attributes of Royal power is the Crown and arms will draw your attention and will not quickly forget visiting the chapel.
