Casa-Museo de Manuel de Falla
Dedicated to preserving the memory of one of Spain's most important composers, Casa-Museo de Manuel de Falla remains much as the celebrated artist left it in 1939. While living in Granada, Manuel de Falla began work on a large-scale musical composition inspired by the mythological Atlantis, often cited as his finest achievement. The whitewashed house still contains the artist's original furniture, piano, manuscripts, and countless small mementos. Walk into the rose garden, where you can find the exact spot where the composer often stood and enjoyed the view. Check online for hours and guided tours. Plan your visit to Casa-Museo de Manuel de Falla and a wealth of other attractions, well-known and undiscovered, using our Granada trip maker .

The small house where composer Manuel de Falla lived for between 1922 and 1939 has been preserved, largely as he left it. He never married and lived with his sister, who kept house for him. Other than... more »

Eerst aanbellen bij het kleine huisje, wit met blauwe luiken. Alles is nog zoals het was toen Manuel de Falla er woonde. De jongeman die ons rondleidde vertelde leuk (in Engels). more »
First ring the Bell at the little house, white with blue shutters. Everything is still as it was when Manuel de Falla lived there. The young man who told us rondleidde nice (in English).View original -
Is the House once inhabited by Falla. It is the composer's famous "dance of the fire" had slipped Mao Asada. I went very close to the hotel. Coming out and knocks on the door and the door is open is usually the person in charge, will guide you in English or Spain. Glasses with the person in the Falla, similar looks like the offspring (* this is my own expectations. And in fact it is Falla was single). It remains inhabited by Falla saved great place here. Many went to the home of Beethoven or Mozart, but also is the home of the famous composer ones were removed and placed in a glass case, has been converted to a museum. But like Falla House kitchen furniture has been put even necessities leave really about until recently Falla lived in. "In this table, and Debussy's et al. or playing chess and talking, I was" and explained, but so were actually feeling. Piano compositions used are still ringing, I was surprised. Falla was here. Jean and chest, breathe the same air, share the same space feel. It is good to go. And Garden here bothers point, streets of the ALBAYZIN and overlooks. You'll have fewer people. In addition, it is recommended to walk way to the Alhambra from here if you have time. You can to Falla walked this way, sushi, so were doing life composing, Falla is first of all the neighborhood walk → lunch → NAP night late, I cry. Never universally Adam Green hardly like classical music is not spot on, I think people want to know the House of artists of the early 20th century, and it wouldn't hurt.View original

It was all a discovery. I would include it as a must-see in Granada. The young man who has guided us during the visit of today has been very kind and has shown to be very prepared on the master's life. In addition it has transmitted emotions Assembly which houses the place.View original

Void. They have given us is up to 5 in the afternoon. They are the 15.45. We have got this far after eating under a Sun of Justice. There is no one. Llamamos door and the phone. There is no answer. Unpresentable. So goes the country. They live off tourism and thus treat us.View original
