Carmen de los Martires, Granada

(4.6/5 based on 280+ reviews on the web)
Not precisely in the style of the Moorish gardens of Granada, Carmen de los Martires nevertheless offers gardens with many years of history. Perched on a hill top, the park also features excellent views of the nearby Sierra Nevada mountain range. Only peacock’s calls break the silence. Note that you may find the gate from the main road padlocked and have to circle around; follow the signs to the Falla Auditorium for entry. Consider bringing a picnic. • It is hard to go walk, but the effort is rewarded. The cuesta de Gomérez or the camp of Prince is easily reached. The site consists of a building in which currently weddings etc and annexed grounds are made (which is beautiful). The gardens are very nice specially in autumn and in spring, which is when there are more colorful. Peacocks, ducks, fish, frogs and turtles. At the end of February were full of frogs sources.

  • A small park next to the Alambroj. Cosy quiet location with lots of shops. You can relax on a hot summer day, enjoy stunning views of the city. Here is the current aqueduct, built several centuries ago. On Saturday morning you can see the wedding. The Park is beautiful at any time of the year.

  • Unforgettable gardens in Granada with a unique location, close to the grounds of the Alhambra, with several viewpoints where you can see different areas of the city. They are very fresh as there is plenty of shade and many areas of water, ideal for summer. In your Palace wedding, held since it is very colorful with Moorish style architecture. As it cherry all the carmen is populated with several examples of Peacock to stroll quietly.
