  • Superficially the place you could settle with a phrase of the time some holes and caverns on a rock wall. So it is but in fact the collection is impressive, especially when considering the context in which it is located, a beautiful inland area of the northern part of the island, at the top of a deep gorge where the alternation of colors between the green vegetation and the Brown of the Earth creates an interesting effect. It is this an archaeological site because the origins of these caves is very old. We leave to explanatory posters placed on site the task to reveal the history and characteristics of this place: we give you just a tip, go for it preferably in the morning because it is the time when these caves are lit by natural sunlight. To get there take the exit # 20 coastal highway and follow the signs. You can park along the way. You pay an entrance fee (3 euros) and with an uphill path of a few tens of metres you will arrive near the site. Inside the caves, you cannot enter but are not very deep, so even from the outside you can see them in their almost complete entirety. The site is closed on Mondays. From October to March you visit from 10 to 17, from April to September from 10 to 18. 6 January, 1 May and 25 one-and February closed.

  • An awesome place with views that are worth seeing. A sample of how our ancestors managed to survive. Place where stored grain, grain, etc. The visit is short, it only costs three euros, but both the place and the views are worth it.

  • Everyone, including rough guide praised us this place! I admit that we had to go through something because we were not overwhelmed! Certainly these historical cavities are interesting and the nice view, but the place is not big and it has quickly made the rounds! To do if you're in the area! May be you will be more receptive.
