  • Arriving before 10:30 to the parking after I don't know where to park and more very hot despite the altitude. From MASPALOMAS takes approx 1 h 30 drive very very curvy but passable. Parking right in front of the departure of more or less marked trails. In 45 min after you are at the foot of the rock with the seen staggering. It's worth it.

  • There is a tiny parking lot and then people parked along the road. You must be careful with what is left in the car because there are blatantly looking inside cars and individuals testing locks to see if a car is open. I warned Civil Guard but I don't know if they will watch it much.

  • Beautiful views, I would recommend. We just got when, on the one hand was the fog but the whole second was beautifully nasloneczniona. Makes a huge impression. The road uphill by car along the steep slopes. We drove from one side of the fog on 10 m and we left in the beautifully illuminated downhill rogue nuble. I advise you to follow the rules. The road is extremely dangerous wypadniecie the road certainly ended up to death.

  • The walk is 1,3 km. The parking is always crowded but you can park in the ditch of the road. The walk is nice and a little slippery sometimes, but it’s okey for child and old people. The view at the top is refreshing. You can surround the rock by the right and by the left. Left is a little more difficult to access and I think right has a greater view, but if you can, sit and relax while you contemplate the view.
  • Besides the rock, the surrounding offers amazing views. The landscape behind the rock is just stunning and El Teide of Teneriffe can be seen from here on a clear day. Don't rush, sit down , relax and enjoy the majestic beauty of mother nature. If you are a mountain lover, you are guaranteed with an amazing visual treat. The trek / hike to the rock is not that hard and can easily be done, but make sure you take enough water on a hot sunny day. If you are driving, make sure you give yourself for some waiting time for parking as there are only limited space available.
  • As this is a famous icon for Gran Canaria, it can be very busy. You definitely want to avoid the big crowds around midday. Parking can be almost impossible. When quiet, it is a magic, beautiful spot. The walk around the rock is not a walk in the park, so make sure to wear good shoes.
  • Nice Place with beautiful spots. But you need good footwear and endurance
  • Amazing views and a nice hike. Bring lots of water and a snack for the top. No fences so be careful if you bring children. Also no toilet, but 3-4 km away at "Llanos De La Pez" there is a public toilet. Just bring your own soap and toilet paper.
