  • We visited what was the old monastery a Saturday morning, and at least at the beginning of October you can enjoy a late-riser. Had guide but I was very busy with a couple of Americans, so we saw it on our own. The entrance Gallery already impresses, but what most we liked was the interior with its three naves separated by arches that are a beauty and light that you can enjoy also. It is an example of how to reuse materials from other constructions. A charm.

  • You will be surprised find for these "caminillos" this jewel Mozarabic. The restoration (which, incidentally saw in the ' 71) has been quite lucky. The interior surprises magnificent consus "reused" columns

  • The monastery is wonderful, unique within the rich Spanish heritage. It has parking and easy access, entry costs only 2 euros, the guide is very nice, also it is very close to Gradefes where you can visit the impressive Cistercian Monastery and take a vinin in the town.
