  • This Castle is well of the beaten path and you will have to have a rental car to get to but it is well worth the drive. There is not a tour guide or any information so you are on your own to explore as you will.
  • Impressive! the views, the fortress... everything we loved. Although missing a bit of civility in the people who visit it, because we saw a lot of garbage (cans, scarves, bags of potatoes, cigarette butts).

  • Little known this Caliphate fortress that was one of the most important lines of containment to the advancement of the so-called "reconquest". Divided into two parts, it has a walled perimeter of 1200 meters. Free entrance. The view of the Douro River and the Castilian plain is amazing. Essential

  • It is the Caliphate and walled fortress with greater perimeter from all over Europe. Partial restoration is better, at least. Sometimes it's better not to touch... The views from the fortress are spectacular, and best mosaic which form the lands carved out at his feet, are different at each time of the year. Very nice, and form part of the route of the Cid.

  • You should not miss this unbeatable and lost place to visit Europe's largest Fort. It has been restored and below there is a Hermitage where venue is planned. You can go with your children. It seems incredible q on the day that I was whole. They arrived only foreign. Not a single Spanish by visiting the area. They should do more advertising to the area.
