  • The first attraction that met us on the road from Girona train station in the old city, was the main street of the city-Rambla de la Libertad. It originates from the Plaça de Catalunya and stretches northward parallel to the river Onyar. Building on the Rambla erected in 19-th century during the restoration of the embankment. Now this pedestrian street where you will find numerous cafes, shops and restaurants. In our visit, apparently because of cool weather and an early morning Rambla was almost deserted.
