(4.7/5 based on 340+ reviews on the web)
Navigate the cobblestone paths and alleys of one of Europe's best-preserved Jewish ghettos, Patronat Call de Girona. Until the expulsion of Jews from Spain in 1492, Girona was home to Catalonia's second-most prominent Jewish community. Explore Calle de la Força, the main street of the neighborhood, and the narrow corridors that branch from it. Make sure you also check out the ruins of the Torre Gironella and the Arab Baths. For context, pay a visit to the Museu d'Història dels Jueus de Girona to learn all about medieval Jewish life in the quarter.
  • Stroll the streets of the Call is a must ride on your visit to Girona. Lost in its streets, see the houses and building, tickets and the whole is a joy. You will find beautiful photo corners. Highly recommended.

And that "Cal" l is that the ghetto (Ghetto) in Catalan. That is the Jewish district (district). This area is the area from the 9th century until the 15th century, Jews lived. Girona's Jewish community was flourishing around the 12th century, but after that 15th-century at the end Jewish Spain being expelled from was.
