Passeig de la Muralla, Girona
(4.7/5 based on 1,000+ reviews on the web)
Passeig de la Muralla offers a glimpse of Girona from above and unobstructed views of the nearby Pyrenees Mountains. The route sits atop the eastern city walls, which the Romans first built and the town reconstructed in the 14th century, tore down again at the end of the 19th century, and once again restored in recent years. Break up your stroll by climbing the observation towers for better views of the city’s landmarks and surrounding nature. Passeig de la Muralla is just one of the many highlights you can arrange to see using our online itinerary creator, Girona Edition.

  • Love when traveling through towns you can climb on a free observation deck and enjoy the view from the height of bird (this is not entirely avian) flight. In Girona just did is such a place! While a huge plus is the view of the mountains and over the city. Here you can take pictures every step of the way, and each frame turns out better than the last.

  • It is a way to combine the two views of the city, the modern and the ancient. It is a nice way to stroll and see beautiful views of the city. I recommend it!

  • Worth once stroll along the city wall, but really anything interesting I saw for myself. Conventional city, me especially not impressed. The wall itself money, judging from the smell, some believe that you can go to the bathroom:))) from the pros-visit to the wall is a free pleasure:)
