  • Very good choice if it is to be more than 2 days to the city. It is a charming place that I have visited on several occasions (I'm from Girona). The origin of the Museum of the cinema is located in the acquisition, on January 28, 1994, of the Tomàs Mallol collection of precinema and cinema objects by Girona City Council. The Museum of the cinema was opened in Girona at the end of four years, on April 8, 1998, and was the first of its specialty in Spain, comparable in terms of the quality of the collection and the exhibition project with the main museums of cinema in Europe. The entry price is more than reasonable, although you can take into account that admission is free the first Sunday of each month.

  • Very simple place to be a museum. Unfulfilled expectations, small and to be a museum knows a little.

  • This museum building all three floors facing the Plaza Santa Susana. It's very big. It is a museum to enjoy seeing the history of the cinema from its beginnings. There are also references to famous films and actors. There are usually temporary exhibitions. Exquisite decor and atmosphere. Advisable to have a good time visiting

  • An impressive personal collection of movie-related artifacts made available to the public. You have seen these things in books but you can almost touch them here...
  • Surprisingly awesome museum, really big, interesting, for young and old. I've spend more then two hours here. Not expensive at all
  • The creator of this museum has a deep love and passion for film history. This shows through the exhibit, which is packed full of things to see and watch, walking you through how film started. Worth a visit for anyone into film. Plus free WiFi!
  • Easily one of the best places to visit if you are in Girona. Informative and entertaining.
  • We had the place to ourselves when we visited, it was informative and entertaining for the adults and the 10 year old in our family. Reasonable entrance fee and half price for any further Girona museums we visit now.
