  • Actually arrive to Girona and not go to the Basilica is bad. Who are greedy and not willing to pay 7 € can be used after 18:00 to the West entrance. Cathedral opens for service. But you won't see the Treasury and courtyard.

  • If you like visiting certain cathedrals it is one that is worth. Access to the Cathedral also gives you access to the Museum of the Treasury where the mantle of Girona.

  • Struck me the view of the Cathedral from the first step, since it gives a more majestic Cathedral. It is a nice visit and now has an additive, imagine the cast of GoT vajando staircase (Vaelor septon stairs). A good photo for the lovers of the series, is a good area for walking and set in a well-preserved medieval world like few others.

  • Amazing Cathedral not to be missed by old Cathedral/Church lovers like me. I've been to a lot of the large famous ones in Europe and this one really holds a candle to any of them. Gorgeous stained glass. Massive interior (apparently the largest gothic nave in The world). Good audio guide.
  • The Cathedral of Girona is awe-inspiring in scope from both the interior and exterior. The building has transformed through many iterations over nearly a millennium of existence, from the 1000 year old Romanesque courtyard to the modern-era analogue clock on its bell tower. Be sure to get an audio guide for the full effect. This is the must-see building in Girona. Also be sure to view the Creation Tapestry in the Cathedral treasure rooms.
  • fascinating architecture, a lot of stairs makes it look impressive. entrance to the cathedral is paying, I think it`s 7e.
  • A wonderful church with history and heritage. Eye astonishingly beautiful!
  • If you like Game of Thrones then you will appreciate the surrounding area. If you don't watch the series at all then you'll probably like the architecture. If you don't like either the you can pass on this area.
