  • The Cathedral of Girona is awe-inspiring in scope from both the interior and exterior. The building has transformed through many iterations over nearly a millennium of existence, from the 1000 year old Romanesque courtyard to the modern-era analogue clock on its bell tower. Be sure to get an audio guide for the full effect. This is the must-see building in Girona. Also be sure to view the Creation Tapestry in the Cathedral treasure rooms.
  • If you like Game of Thrones then you will appreciate the surrounding area. If you don't watch the series at all then you'll probably like the architecture. If you don't like either the you can pass on this area.
  • Beautiful, beautiful church and a good museum to go with. Definitely worth a visit.
  • Not a must see in the area. Focus on the good tapas bars and restaurants around...
  • Built 1056, expanded in 1600, 2nd biggest cathedral arches in world after St Peters.
