  • Is a villa Roman that keeps a mosaic quite well preserved, recommend see the video for then make you an idea of what you see. Travel is small and looks fast, but is worthwhile, especially if you love Roman.

  • It is worth a visit. Nice visit and very educational. Good access and parking. It tends to be quiet.

  • Authentic Roman villa in the North of Spain to hillside with beautiful views. It was a very educational visit and the different points of observation choice. It is Miss however some contextualisation of the villa itself, information not on the what, if not on the how. But taking the smartphone to find some additional information we can supply that deficiency. Visit recommended.

  • An interesting visit because us about differently from Roman life, as there are in Gijón not only remains of Roman baths as public spaces, but also houses is like the case of the Roman villa of Veranes. Agricultural and livestock exploitation, are seen in the remains left was a large building with spaces dedicated to work in the field and spaces for the house owners, having characteristics of wealthy people comfort it was like have their own bathrooms, heated rooms or have a room richly decorated with mosaics where received visitors. Although the remains that have come to the present day are not many if we can perfectly get an idea of how they lived. The video that is displayed at the entrance of the Museum explains very well all spaces and applications which was in later times. In the Museum we can find from household goods to jewelry that tell us more details of its inhabitants.
