  • Crossing the river and front on the Molinón Stadium looks like a modern building which stands out for its straight lines. Is the Museum of the town Asturian. With the Gijón Card it is free but you must pay input. Start the visit to the building entrance where at different levels exhibit the history of Radio and the Asturian cuisine. Interesting. Then sales abroad where we find an Asturian village with houses, gardens, granaries, etc that you dip in their way of living. You can be characterized in boards scattered around the garden photos that reflect everyday activities. In another House there is an audiovisual 3D of old photographs. And at the end one House with the Museo de la Gaita. Interesting.

  • Recommended us several sites to visit in Gijón, but as we were with 2 people walking something wrong, we decided on the Museum of the people of Asturias. We knew the place which is on the side because we went to the cider Festival at Easter. Museum returns you years ago with the exhibition on 3 floors, of more ancient to more modern. Utensils that have been used through the ages and to explain how it was life in Asturias. Very nice to see and more if we have already some years old. The very interesting collection of radios. Outside the houses rebuilt and brought from other peoples. Very well themed and preserved. What most impressed me was the exhibition of photographs in 3D, which had been taken 100 years ago. Impressive, you can not miss you this part of the Museum. For the exterior is can walk quietly and enjoy of the landscape.
