  • Even if the weather wasn't with us, we had a lovely morning. Our guides were very friendly. We are many to learn basque, and so they are adapted to our level. We began by seeing a documentary in 3D, which makes us see the vastness of the cave. As she teaches us many things. Then we walked a bit through a beautiful forest until you reach the entrance of the cave. We were able to be entered and see the beauty of the place. We had detailed and clear explanations. Thank you for this beautiful discovery.

  • Went knowing that not be visited to cave but thought that the recreation could deserve the penalty. Visit us has been a little strange on the one hand staff who teaches it is very professional and has a very informative way all what civilization concerning what is seen from the cave is very low and has virtually no interest. The recreation from my point of view is very accomplished what is relation to the cave itself but is part of the paintings very little accomplished. In summary if what you are interested in the paintings so you can see better in a book or on the Internet

  • 3-dimensional virtual imaging this accomplished, before the screening guide gives you some prehistoric history, and because of Santimamiñe, which allegedly derives from San Mames. The cave only is can see them first meters, because us them human and the step of the time it is cast to lose.

  • Visit interesting. Although already you can just visit the cave itself.

  • Currently closed to the public and with restricted access, Santi Mamine cave is the most important archaeological site in the area and the better studied.
