Palau Ducal Dels Borja, Gandia
(4.5/5 based on 300+ reviews on the web)
Explore this fortified palace, which served as the residence of the royal dukes of Gandía, and from 1485, the powerful Borja family. Admire the varied architectural styles of Palau Ducal Dels Borja: each of the 11 dukes who lived here contributed to its construction according to the artistic taste of his time. Discover Gothic, Renaissance, Baroque, and neo-Gothic elements. Marvel at the palace’s opulently decorated rooms, particularly the grandeur of the golden gallery and the assembly hall. Look up at the ceiling of the neo-Gothic chapel, which imitates a starry vault decorated with four angels. Don’t forget to pick up your informational leaflet from the reception to learn more about the palace and those who lived there. • The town of Gandia is very nice and pleasant. She is full of shops, many of them quite stylish, cafés, a theatre, a casino... and a ducal palace that is worth visiting, because it is guided and is a place very but very interesting. If going to Gandia Beach, do not forget to visit the village and the beautiful ducal palace

  • Greatly rebuilt since he was rescued by the Jesuits at the end of the 19TH century, it nonetheless be an enormously important building in Valencian culture. Known for having been the residence of the Borja and birthplace of San Francisco Borja.

  • Very interesting
  • For 6 euros per person is only open 2 floor of the complex. Golden gallery looks amazing. Family Borgia was not a blunder. Also evoke curiosity pieces of furniture and Interior, if they are real. The whole exhibition took approximately 30 minutes. Could hardly have been wandering around for longer. Already ran out of rooms and exhibits.

  • We did the guided tour, I think by about €7 per head, and very quite. The visit without a single Guide no cost about €5. This mansion, quite surprised we didn't expect what we. Guided tour lasted about an hour and we did long. The guide was excellent and put on your part to make it entertaining.
